commerce and accountancy. The college is located in the heart of

Raffles offers four undergraduate degrees: a bachelor of
commerce (offering majors in design management, finance,
hospitality, management, marketing and tourism), a bachelor of
accountancy, a bachelor of arts in visual communication (offering
majors in animation, games design, multimedia design, new
media and digital film, and photography) and a bachelor of design
(offering majors in design management, fashion design, fashion
marketing, graphic design and interior design). All bachelor
degrees offer two-year exit points at associate degree level and
offer a mix of ‘industry-based, hands-on training and theory’.
Each program also includes a compulsory internship, allowing
students to familiarise themselves with their chosen industry.
There are intakes each year in February, April, July and October.
The North Sydney campus features computer labs with
industry-standard software, photography and film studios,
classrooms and workshops, a library and an inter-library lending
service that enables students to borrow from university libraries.
Applications are submitted directly to the institution, and local
applicants are required to attend an interview. Bachelor of arts
(visual communication) and bachelor of design applicants are
required to have completed Year 12 or equivalent and submit a
design portfolio, while business applicants are required to have
completed Year 12 or equivalent with a minimum ATAR of 54.25.
Exemptions may be granted from some parts of a course on the
basis of previous study through Recognition of Prior Learning
(RPL). For those just starting out, vocational courses in business
and design are also available, providing pathways into the
bachelor degrees. International applicants must meet English
As a private institution, Raffles charges full fees for its
courses, although scholarships are available. It is also a
government-approved higher education provider, which means
domestic students in approved courses can access FEE-HELP
loans to cover part or all of their tuition fees. For more information
